Luciana Esposito is a Senior Advisor at BanyanGlobal, specializing in organization development, family governance, next generation and leadership development. Throughout her career, she has helped several large national and multinational corporations transform their organizations and develop strong governance.
Before joining Banyan, Luciana was a senior executive at the family office of one of the largest family enterprises in Brazil. In this role, she led the design and implementation of a comprehensive governance structure delineating the roles of the owners and future owners in boards, committees and family assemblies. Her responsibilities ranged from creating custom developmental programs for members of the next generation to developing key initiatives for family strategy, shareholder development, and family communication. This experience gave her unique insights to the strengths and challenges of a dynamic and diverse family system.
Luciana began her career as a consultant for large companies such as Cooper & Lybrand, Arthur Anderson, and PwC. At PwC, she discovered her passion for working with family businesses, shifting her focus from governance and organizational design for public companies to family-owned and controlled companies. She received numerous accolades over her 18-year career as a consultant, including nomination and selection for PwC’s International Leadership Program in Washington D.C.
Luciana holds a degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo – USP, and holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi in Milan. She is fluent in Portuguese and English.
Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Luciana loves riding bicycles and spending time with her husband and daughter in the mountains.
