Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

The Human Resources Coordinator at BanyanGlobal provides general HR administration and customer support for the firm. This is an opportunity to learn human resources responsibilities including hiring, onboarding, and performance management within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

What you’ll do

  • Respond to routine questions including, but not limited to benefits, payroll, and policies
  • Deliver high client service by offering solutions and effectively problem-solving questions or concerns raised by employees
  • Process data changes, new hire, and termination paperwork and others as needed
  • Coordinate recruitment activities like attending recruitment events, scheduling, interviewing and assisting with the onboarding process
  • Assist in program rollouts including, but not limited to performance review process, salary planning, benefits open enrollment
  • Keep apprised and updated on new regulations, company policies & procedures
  • Provide administrative HR support, including preparing presentations, generating monthly and ad hoc reports and sending employee communications
  • Maintain and/or create employee files including the I-9 verifications for all new employees
  • Perform administrative transactions, audits and in some cases, data maintenance of HR Data
  • Schedule on-boarding meetings and conduct and organize new hire orientation as needed
  • Proactively manage annual HR calendar
  • Facilitate internal events and programs as needed
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects and requests

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Professional, positive, friendly manner
  • Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; strong ability to proactively identify and implement effective solutions
  • Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems preferred
