Jay Paradis

Accounting Supervisor

Jay Paradis is an accounting supervisor at BanyanGlobal. He supports Banyan’s Director of Finance & Controller Philip Moore in the firm’s Finance and Accounting department. Before joining Banyan, Jay worked as a Senior Accounting Manager for AP Intego, a now wholly-owned subsidiary of NEXT Insurance. In that role, Jay was responsible for sales commission implementation and processing, payroll responsibilities, accounting close process, and financial reporting.

Jay started his career as an Accounts Payable Coordinator at Acme Packet, a wholly owned subsidiary of Oracle. When Acme Packet was purchased by Oracle he transitioned a Staff Accountant at Boston Capital, a real estate investment firm. Banyan’s Director of Finance & Controller recruited Jay from Boston Capital to join us at Banyan, having previously worked with Phil at Lois Paul & Partners.

Jay spent two years playing Junior Hockey for the Portland Jr. Pirates before attending and playing hockey at Southern New Hampshire University while studying Accounting. He lives just north of Boston in Tewksbury, MA with his wife Jamie and their daughter Ava. Besides keeping up with his daughter, Jay still enjoys playing hockey and golf, as well as watching pretty much any sport he can catch on television.
