Meredith Nealon

Marketing & Brand Specialist

Meredith Nealon is a Marketing and Brand Specialist at BanyanGlobal, responsible for social media marketing and upholding the brand image of Banyan. She originally started at Banyan as a marketing and social media intern and was a part of the Harvard Business Review Family Business Handbook team.

Meredith is a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina where she got a BSBA in Marketing and a BS in Retailing with a concentration in fashion merchandising and was a member of the Honors College. While there, she published research on the Short-Term and Long-Term Effects of COVID-19 on the Fashion Retail Industry in the Journal of Textile Science and Fashion Technology. Throughout college, Meredith worked for a variety of iconic brands including Tory Burch, Nordstrom, and The Masters at Augusta National Golf Club.

Meredith found her interest in family business when she started working in her family’s law office during the summers before college. Though she had lived the experience, she didn’t quite realize how unique the challenges of family business were until her work at Banyan helped put that into context. “It has made me admire not only my own family’s business even more,” she says, “but all family businesses for what they must overcome and what they do for their communities.”

Currently residing outside Boston, Meredith loves the relaxing on the beach, reading a good mystery, and traveling whenever she can.
