Omar Romman is a Partner at BanyanGlobal. His expertise is in family governance, boards, family offices, and next generation education. Omar loves working with families to guide them through the process of aligning and executing on their shared goals. He has worked with families across a range of geographical and cultural contexts in North America, South America, the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Omar has published a number of articles on family business governance in Harvard Business Review, Inc., Family Business Council-Gulf, FFI Practitioner, and Tharawat magazine and has spoken at several conferences around the world on the topic. Before joining Banyan, Omar was a Managing Director at Unifund, a family office, and prior to that he started his career at Bain & Company. He has also served as an advisor to the Queen Noor Al-Hussein Foundation and as a board member on a number of financial and technology startups. Omar is based in Austin, Texas, with his wife and three children.
