He was a certified tax attorney for 25 years, most recently a Senior Shareholder at the national law firm of Greenberg Traurig. Having grown up in a family business, Steve brings a passionate advocacy to the opportunities and the difficulties facing business families. From his own experience, he understands how family dynamics and the highly technical financial, tax and estate structures of family enterprises mutually influence each other.

His writing addresses the many issues that fall at the intersection of trust and tax law and family business.
