Carlos Costa is a Senior Advisor at BanyanGlobal based in Barcelona, Spain. He works with Banyan as an independent consultant supporting our clients who can benefit from his expertise. Throughout his 30 years consulting career he has been devoted to helping clients to orient their strategy, organize their operations, and improve results. Carlos spent 6 years as the COO/Strategy and Board Member role at Mango Fashion, a $3 billion family-owned firm, where he got an appreciation for family businesses that sparked his decision to focus on solely working with owners as an Advisory Board Member and as a Senior Banyan Affiliate at BanyanGlobal. During his career, he has worked in several roles focusing on Strategy, Organization, and Governance for more than 20 family businesses. Carlos has written several publications/articles relating to strategy.
Before working with Banyan, Carlos attended IESE Business School then joined Boston Consulting Group where he was a Senior Partner, managing the Spanish Practices of Consumer, Retail and Healthcare. Carlos is a father of three grown children. He lives with his wife in Barcelona, Spain. He is quite a sports fan so you may find him swimming in the sea, cycling in the woods, or gliding down some mountains.
