Jay Paradis is an Accounting Manager at BanyanGlobal, where he oversees day-to-day financial operations, manages the month-end close process, and delivers financial reporting. Jay’s expertise is in in improving process and efficiency in accounting and finance allowing for a timely story to be told to firm members.
Jay worked in a variety of companies before joining Banyan. He started in fund accounting at Boston Capital, but transitioned to corporate accounting where he found his professional passion. He has years of experience working in internal finance roles, including with AP Intego and Lois Paul & Partners, where he first worked with Banyan’s CFO, Philip Moore.
Jay lives just north of Boston in Tewksbury, MA with his wife Jamie and their daughters Ava and Maya. Outside of chasing his young children around, Jay also enjoys playing hockey and golf, as well as watching pretty much any sport that may be on at a particular time.
Fun Facts:
- Jay spent two years playing Junior Hockey for the Portland Jr. Pirates before attending and playing hockey at Southern New Hampshire University while studying Accounting.
- Jay still plays hard – including competing in hockey tournaments outdoors in sub-freezing weather in New England!
