Philip Moore is the Chief Financial Officer at BanyanGlobal, responsible for overseeing the firm’s commercial planning, executing on financial strategy, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. In his time at Banyan, he has been involved in strengthening the firm’s internal controls and improving Banyan’s financial analysis and processes, including the recent implementation of a new company wide ERP. Phil takes a thoughtful approach to problem solving and he considers ethics and integrity a foundation to his role, consistent with Banyan’s values. Phil has extensive experience working in the professional services industry, starting with Mercer Management Consulting, now known as Oliver Wyman. Before joining Banyan, he worked primarily with publicly traded companies at several subsidiaries of Omnicom, Mastercard, and Reuters. Phil found his interest in family business when he witnessed the hard work and dedication of several family members who began small businesses in the suburbs of Boston. Phil resides in Boston’s South End neighborhood with his partner, Christoph, and their pooch, Cooper. He loves traveling, trying new restaurants, and weekend drives to Maine and the Cape.

- Phil is named after Philip Sheridan, the illustrious Union general in the Civil War, who is a distant family relative.
- Phil is one of those odd people who loves winter and cherishes all of the New England seasons. He loves to spend time outdoors at the family cottage in Sebago Lake, Maine, built by his grandfather, and enjoys gardening, snowmobiling, and hiking.
