Srishti Maheshwari is a Principal at Banyan. Prior to Banyan, Srishti worked as a M&A and private equity lawyer for 6 years before she decided to pursue her MBA. Most recently, she worked at McKinsey & Co. as a management consultant. Throughout her career, Srishti has worked with clients across a wide range of industries, including financial services, insurance, technology, consumer and government institutions. In her role at Banyan, Srishti leverages her unique blend of legal and strategic experience to help family businesses navigate various challenges and arrive at creative solutions. As an extroverted person, Srishti enjoys meeting new people and working in teams to solve problems.
Srishti was born and raised in India. She moved to the US for her MBA, and currently lives in Brooklyn, NY with her partner. In her free time, Srishti can be found reading books, swimming, or exploring new restaurants.
Fun Facts:
- Srishti loves improv comedy – she has trained in improv twice (in Mumbai and at Second City, Chicago) and performed in improv shows in Mumbai, India.
- Despite having exclusively lived in large cities all her life, Srishti has a newfound fondness for the rural life of Vermont (her partner’s home-state).
