Andy Bahnfleth is a Principal at Banyan. Andy has an appreciation for the rewards and challenges of family business and has found great satisfaction working with family business owners. He has worked on owner strategy development, continuity planning, and governance design.
Andy was an independent sponsor in private equity focused on lower middle-market businesses frequently led by founders and family. As a board member, he worked with owners and managers to develop and execute business growth strategies.

- Andy, his wife, and two terrific daughters have long lived in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago — but he has resisted becoming a Cubs fan.
- Growing up in Cincinnati, Andy has a love for Skyline 5-way chili – but somehow never became a Reds fan, either.
